The expected throughput is about half of the link speed. Your router works as expected. All you can do is play with different Wi-Fi channels and find one with more available bandwidth.

Channel Width: 20 MHz. WebUnplug the extender, change the 2.4gHz password, reboot the router, connect your laptop, and run a test. If you get 70-80Mbps, reconnect one of the TVs, and rerun the test. If you still get 70-80, connect another TV and rerun. Once you've reconnected everything, if you're still getting 70-80, it was the extender.

WebIf you are connecting via 802.11g then the theoretical maximum is only 54Mbps. 29 Mbps is under that max but it isn't too terrible. If you are using 802.11n for the 2.4Ghz then the theoretical max is more like 300 Mbps which you are well below.
