The results on this forum with aftermarket mounts are extremely mixed at best and almost exclusively bad (some notable exceptions but they appear random and not brand specific - e.g. there are some good experiences with Anchor mounts but most of them are absolutely horrible). WebThere is a known issue with a large production run of these mounts. The two bolt holes that attach the Anchor engine mount to the frame of my 2007 2-door Honda civic (and others) are not fabricated properly. The bolt furthest from the front of the car will be impossible to install. I spent an extra hour trying to make the mount work, with no luck.
